Outlook Tip – Speed up your workflow

Here’s a very simple tip that will help you save time, improve your health and make your workflow a lot more efficient.

Keyboard is da bomb

It’s simple! Use Outlook’s keyboard shortcuts to switch from your Inbox/Mail, Calendar, Contact/People and Tasks! It makes things faster, less mouse clicks (thus reducing chances of wrist pain/carpal tunnel problems) and greatly improves your workflow!

Ctrl+1 = Mail

Ctrl+2 = Calendar

Ctrl+3 = People

Ctrl+4 = Tasks

Ctrl+5 = Notes

Note that these shortcuts work in every Microsoft’s Office Outlook versions.

Here are links to Windows keyboard shortcuts. I STRONGLY recommend you start using your keyboard more: reduced wrist strain, increased productivity, you’ll reap the benefits in minutes. After a week or two, it’s for life.
