Hello readers! I hope you’re having a wonderful Monday!
When Outlook goes wild and starts downloading twice all your server’s inbox, you end up with a pretty awesome shitload ton of duplicates. This usually happens when there’s a sync hiccup. Anyway, here’s how to easily delete ’em!
It’s a sorta thing
Since the e-mails are all downloaded at once at pretty much the same time, it becomes a breeze to delete these duplicates. No special rules, coding, add-ons or plugins to install/buy required. Simply sort your e-mails by Date Created!
To do this, you’ll want to add a filter (column) since it’s not by default. Simply:
Right-click any columns > View settings > Columns… > Add “Created” to the columns.
Now click the “Created” column to sort your e-mails, select everything that got created within minutes of each other and press DELETE! Voilà!
Enjoy!
